HYDRIS Operating principle

    HYDRIS can direct measure hydrogen content of the ladle, tundish and ingot mould in molten steel, nitrogen as carrier gas through the probe into the molten steel and absorption of the hydrogen in the liquid steel, until the hydrogen content in the carrier gas and hydrogen content in liquid steel to balance.

Analytical technique

  Thermal conductivity meter of pneumatic cabinet can analyze the hydrogen content in the carrier gas, according to the law of SIEVER by the hydrogen partial pressure can calculate the hydrogen content in liquid steel.
